Kisii County commissioner orders closure of illegal gambling businesses

Kisii county commissioner Madam Kula Hache, has instructed owners of unlicensed gambling venues in Kisii and its environs to close down their businesses. According to Kula Hache, the gambling machines, which were installed by Chinese technicians are said to have contributed to the increase of crimes in Kisii and also laziness among students.

She also added by saying it is the right time to prevent and stop the crimes before it’s too late. Speaking at her office on Thursday, Kula Hache  said that she has ordered police officers to arrest anybody caught engaging in gambling as most of them are not licensed yet.
